Starting a business in the Hutt Valley

Quick tips on starting out

Congratulations to those brave enough to start and run their own business!!

There are so many wonderful resources out there to help you to start, manage or grow your business. Right from the beginning, it’s about being clear on what you want to achieve with your business, whether you're just starting up or putting plans in place for 2014.

Good questions to ask yourself

  • What’s the end result GOT to be?
  • What’s worked well for you in the past and what hasn’t?
  • Where do you need professional help or guidance?
  • Are you passionate about your business?

It’s important that you are really passionate about what you’re selling or promoting. After all, you’re going to be investing a lot of money, time and effort (potentially) into this “Project” - and you're going to have to sell it!
