Morgan, from Wainuiomata, has created these two works. About the sculpture (left) Morgan says, "I was inspired by "Splatstick" (for example, early Peter Jackson films), and general film-like fake gore. I enjoyed mixing the humorous and gross, and found the textures interesting. I created this effect by melting wax."

Jemma is a local face painter. What Jemma enjoys the most is sharing a piece of artwork on a child's face and seeing their reaction when they first look into the mirror "...sharing that experience with people is amazing!"
